In the fall of 2022, a new committee was formed at East Senior called the Guest Speaker committee. With no precedent or limitations, the possibilities were endless. It was decided to invite successful community members in to speak to students. The special focus was to share the exciting but often twisty & messy journey they took. Learning about how the challenges, failures, choices, and experiences shaped their lives made all presenters relevant to all students, regardless of their interest in the specific career being shared.
The presentations exceeded all expectations and we are deeply grateful to our guests for sharing their time and insights to help our students as they begin their own journeys.
